Aldi to Debut New Store in Greenfield, MA

Grocery chain Aldi is set to open their latest Massachusetts store in Greenfield, Massachusetts on June 26th, 2025. The new 19,400 square foot store will be located at 220 Mohawk Drive. The 6.5 acre site was previously home to the infamous Candlelight Motor Inn, which fell into disrepair and was shut down for much of the last 20 years. This new Aldi store is an excellent example of how retail development can turn a blighted, unproductive property into a beautiful new asset for the community. We look forward to seeing the store open and begin serving the Greenfield community!
